Brian C. Potts

Brian C. Potts is an Assistant Professor of Law at St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law. He teaches Torts, Evidence, Law & Literature, and other courses.

Professor Potts served as the career law clerk to the Honorable Daniel A. Manion of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Before that, he clerked for the Honorable Joseph S. Van Bokkelen of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.

During law school, he served an internship with the Honorable David D. Noce, Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

Professor Potts practiced law in various state and federal courts, primarily in the area of civil litigation.

He graduated cum laude from Ave Maria School of Law in the woodlands of Ann Arbor, Michigan. And he graduated cum laude from the University of Dallas in glorious, sweltering Irving, Texas.
