Kadean Wilson
Kadean Wilson is a Legal Writing Professor, teaching Legal Research and Writing and Advanced Legal Research and Writing.
Prior to joining St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law, Professor Wilson served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit where she engaged in extensive motion practice and tried multiple criminal cases to verdict. Professor Wilson also worked as a civil litigation attorney where she gained valuable experience in the fields of Insurance Defense, Premises Liability, Labor and Employment, and Civil Rights.
Professor Wilson earned her law degree, with Honors, from the Florida A&M University College of Law, and her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. Professor Wilson is a member of the Florida Bar’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and has published an article on wage discrimination. Professor Wilson is currently licensed to practice law in Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
