The Chefs Leadership Summit is an annual event designed specifically for chefs, including up-and-coming, as well as veteran chefs, aiming to enhance their business acumen and leadership skills in various areas!

Event Organizers:

The event is presented by St. Thomas University’s Institute for Ethical Leadership and the Gus Machado College of Business with all proceeds going towards student scholarships in these two respective areas.

The summit focuses on several key areas to help chefs improve their knowledge in the areas of leadership and management skills, including:

  • The event offers a platform for chefs to hear from professional and industry experts.
  • Attendees will gain practical, leadership-specific ideas and knowledge that can’t be found elsewhere.
  • The summit is specifically tailored to the needs of chefs, including Executive Chefs, Chefs de Cuisine, Sous Chefs, and F&B Directors/Managers.
  • Break out presentations and discussions will explore emerging trends in culinary leadership, as well as career and personal growth.
  • It’s a one-day event packed with valuable information, professional development opportunities, networking possibilities and connections with fellow chefs from across the country.

Registration Details:

  • Chefs Summit Registration: $199
  • All profits go into STU Ethical Leadership and Hospitality student scholarships.
  • Multiple presentation tracks will be available, allowing attendees to choose sessions that align with their interests and needs.
  • Handouts will be provided for each presentation, ensuring that attendees have access to valuable resources.
  • 8 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) will be awarded to all attendees at the conclusion of the summit.
  • Dress Code: Smart Casual/Business Casual

The summit begins at 8 AM with a networking continental breakfast and ends in the late afternoon with a reception around 5 p.m. View full event schedule here.

If you are traveling from a distance, you can arrive the night before. The event organizers will recommend affordable hotels in the area. View recommended accommodations.

Refund Policy:

Cancellations made 30 days or more from the start date will receive a 70% refund. Cancelations made within 30 days of the start date are ineligible for a refund.

Sponsor / Vendor Opportunities:

  • Companies that would like to participate in this event can do so for a sponsorship fee which goes towards the participants swag bag, the events food service, and student scholarships. Sponsoring companies will also be listed in the official program as sponsors and will have access to the participants through a sponsor / vendor table at the Sponsors Luncheon.
  • Swag Bag – Designed to have Chef Leadership Summit name and logo on the outside with STU branding. Contains official program, sponsor / vendor items and giveaways, STU branded giveaways, etc.
