Graduate Programs in Human Rights (LL.M. & J.S.D.)
Our internationally acclaimed Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Doctor of the Science of Law (J.S.D.) Programs in Intercultural Human Rights started in August 2001, with only the LL.M. Program; the LL.M. Program was joined in 2005 by the J.S.D. Program. Today, this program has expanded into a powerful tool of education and scholarship that incorporates both educational and practical components, such as co-curricular organizations, including the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review; the Human Trafficking Academy; and the St. Thomas University Human Rights Institute, which seek to promote the dignity of each human being through research, education, social advocacy, and direct service to individuals and families.
