The Undeclared option at St. Thomas University allows students the freedom to explore their interests and discover their passions before committing to a specific field of study.

Program Overview

At STU, Undeclared is a flexible option is ideal for students who are eager to begin their college journey but want time to consider the many academic and career paths available. While taking foundational courses that count toward graduation, undeclared students work closely with academic advisors to identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and find the major that’s the right fit. Students may register for a maximum of 15 semester hours. With a supportive community and personalized guidance, STU ensures that every student, declared or undecided, is on track for academic success and long-term fulfillment.
