Pamela A. Cingel earned her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Toledo. She has been a full-time counselor educator and psychology instructor for 24 years. Her clinical experience included the management of an inpatient chemical dependency treatment center and providing supervision to community agencies. She is licensed in Florida as a Mental Health Therapist and a member of the ACA. Dr. Cingel is a professor in the Social Science and Counseling Education Departments. She is the Director of the Psychology Program, faculty advisor for the Psi Chi National Honor Society , the UNI 101 Program, the Faculty and Student Research Center and a founding member of the Ed.D. program. Her research interests include adolescents, health issues and gender studies.
