Community Life

The School of Theology and Ministry (STM) is an open and inclusive community. We value diversity and welcome students of all faith traditions.

Our student body consists of about 70 graduate students, 15 undergraduate students, and approximately 40 to 50 men and women enrolled in our certificate programs in Loss and Healing and Spiritual Companionship.

Our students come from various parts of the United States and from a variety of foreign countries. They represent more than a dozen different denominations in the Christian faith. Our graduate students range in age from the 30s to the 60s. Many are already involved in ministry and wish to deepen their theological knowledge. Others are entering ministry as a second career. Most STM students are from minority ethnic or cultural groups.

At the STM, education extends beyond the classroom. In addition to opportunities for prayer and personal reflection, students can engage in community service learning and attend special lectures and programs that are both spiritually and intellectually enriching.
