Gretel La Guardia is the Library’s Access Services Manager. She manages a staff of more than 30 students and 3 graduate assistants each semester. She joined the St. Thomas University community in 2008 as an undergraduate student while earning a B.A. in Criminal Justice, with minors in Psychology and Sociology. Gretel has been working at the Library for more than 8 years. She has a Master’s in General Management and a Graduate Certificate in Justice Administration, and she has a second Master’s, an M.A.C.J. in Criminal Justice. She enjoys advising the students through professional counseling to help them achieve their personal and career goals. Gretel’s efficient leadership skills, student advising services, excellent customer service, and achievement skills have allowed her to gain the position in which she currently serves.
