Prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner for Baptist Health in 2015, Jacqueline served in the emergency department at Baptist Hospital of Miami, helping triage and assess patients. Courtney Mayer

Courtney Mayer, LMHC, M.Ed, Ed.S

Therapist; Athletics Department

Courtney is a proud triple graduate of the University of Florida. She holds a Sports Psychology Coaching Certification. Courtney believes everyone deserves to have someone wholeheartedly in their corner. She considers it an honor to advocate for athlete mental health and walk alongside her clients through all their wins, “losses” (learning experiences), traumas, anxieties, performance trainings, and anything else the student athlete brings to session. While growing can be hard and sometimes scary, it should also be fun and something to celebrate. Courtney makes it a priority to ensure that no matter how hard therapy may become, they will smile and/or laugh at some point every session.

In her free time, you will likely find Courtney at the gym, napping, or soaking up the sun (while definitely napping).
